Earlier in February the fine people at The Midnight Type asked me to contribute a “Date From Hell” piece (short story, poem, whatever) to their brainchild, otherwise known as #BleedingHeart2014. Because February is all about love. And revenge. And twisted passions. And maybe even gore.
I was thrilled to be invited and while I don’t write bloody very well, I do enjoy creepy. My story was inspired by this photo and a bit of history (The Great Storm of 1900 which demolished Galveston, Texas and is the second worst natural disaster to strike the US, so far). If you’d like to read “Hell Hath No Fury”, please click here. And while you’re visiting The Midnight Type, be sure to check out the other amazing stories.
